RROBB - Techno Mix 2011

Finally I managed to start mixing my own sounds of 2011 with the help of Mixmeister, great software btw.

I already started to build a big 2011 mix with all my tracks but somehow I lost the structure of the mix, during mixing. It didn't sound they way I wanted it to be. Of course I tried it with DJay but not all the transitions of the tracks sounded nice and straight. So, then u start over if u don't want produce a fast get away mix.

Colors

About using colors in Logic, don't stay with that navy green color. First of all, that green doesn't look nice, but working with more colors for your audio/MIDI tracks in Logic works faster because u have a better overview about what kind of action is coming during editing:

Crayon filter

Crayon Filter is a multi-band filter plug-in, and it's one of my favorites:

The band controls allow you to add a type of filter to the output of the signal. You can engage up to five filter types at once (one of each type). Crayon Filter by betabugsaudio.com Low Pass attenuates high frequencies, giving your sound a “dull” feel. Band Pass attenuates both above and below the cutoff frequency, for a “thin” or “nasal” sound...

Great free filter.

Contains 15 filter distorting presets.

I finally posted a new song. Due to a large amount of appointments and trips I was a bit delayed in releasing tracks.

Anyway... this demo-track might be a bit over the top maybe, but very steady goa like techno. Vocals might be edited in the near future... improvement mastering?
