Colors

About using colors in Logic, don't stay with that navy green color. First of all, that green doesn't look nice, but working with more colors for your audio/MIDI tracks in Logic works faster because u have a better overview about what kind of action is coming during editing:

  • use a color for every separate track for overview
  • redefine colors when automated or (automation-) data differs from standard pattern on selected track
  • use neon like colors for extreme sounds, like Big hits and explosions.

good one. I'm actually using the default color green, which indeed sucks, to indicate that the parts in the track are orriginal copys and have no edits. I color each part once I make an edit in it. Don't really care what color I pick. Just to indicate the part has edits in it. . .
